About this Job
This posting is for a full-time, 9-month, unclassified, in-person, on-site, faculty position for our Bossier campus.
Approximate start date is August 10, 2026.

Minimum Qualifications
Education Requirement:
Master's Degree in Mathematical Sciences or Professional Degree in a related field (e.g. Ph.D., Ed.D., D.Eng.) or Master's Degree in a related field with at least 18 graduate hours of mathematical sciences.
Experience:
Experience teaching credit mathematics courses at the community college level is preferred.
Skills:
Must be willing to work non-traditional schedules and demonstrate a willingness to develop and teach courses online and using alternative delivery modes (hybrid, hyflex, or synchronous).
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Must have use of sensory skills in order to effectively communicate and interact with other employees and the public through the use of the telephone and personal contact as normally defined by the ability to see, read, talk, hear and handle or feel objects and controls. Must have physical capability to effectively use and operate various items of office equipment such as, but not limited to, personal computer, calculator, copier, and fax machine. Ability to occasionally lift or carry up to 20 pounds. Must be capable of sitting in a stationary position for 50% or more of workday.

Instructor duties to include, but not limited to:
