What does a Tutor do?
Bailey Education Group is excited to announce that we are now hiring Tutors in Missouri! The tutor provides targeted ELA and/or mathematics instruction grounded in a strong understanding of state content standards, assessment blueprints, grade-level learning progressions, and high-quality instructional resources. The role requires skill in delivering evidence-based ELA and mathematics instruction, documenting student learning, monitoring pre- to post-assessment growth, and modifying instructional strategies when progress stalls. The tutor aligns tutoring with classroom instruction and collaborates with classroom teachers to use classroom, benchmark, pre-assessment, and formative data to identify specific priority skills, address students' instructional needs, and adjust tutoring based on ongoing evidence of learning.
