Job description


We are seeking an experienced middle school and high school math tutor to work one-to-one with students in their homes or at local libraries throughout Marin County. This is an in-person, after-school tutoring position for educators who enjoy building relationships with students and helping them gain confidence in math.
This role is ideal for teachers, tutors, or educators looking for flexible, part-time work with consistent students and strong administrative support.
Responsibilities
  • Provide one-to-one math tutoring for middle school and high school students
  • Support coursework including pre-algebra, algebra, geometry, and higher-level math as needed
  • Help students build strong problem-solving skills, confidence, and academic habits
  • Communicate clearly with students and families about progress and goals
  • Arrive prepared, on time, and ready to engage students in learning
  • Tutor students after school hours, primarily weekdays
