POSITION: MATH TEACHER - MIDDLE SCHOOL/HIGH SCHOOL
QUALIFICATIONS:
  1. Class A Mississippi Teacher's License with endorsement in Mathematics - 154
  2. Knowledge and skills in classroom instructional methods and management
  3. Commitment to student-centered learning
  4. Knowledge of Mississippi College and Career readiness standards
  5. Commitment to integration of technology into daily instruction
  6. Interpersonal skills in working with students, professional colleagues, administration, parents, and community
  7. Strong written and oral communication skills: grammar, spelling, punctuation
  8. Strong computer skills
  9. Good physical condition with ability to lift 10 pounds

JOB DESCRIPTION: Teach classes in accordance with all policies and procedures as stated in Ocean Springs School Board Policy.
SALARY: Commensurate with the Ocean Springs salary schedule for certified positions for the 2026-2027 school year.
LENGTH OF CONTRACT: 187 days per school year - Certified/Exempt
