Job description

Join us in pioneering breakthroughs in healthcare. For everyone. Everywhere. Sustainably. Our inspiring and caring environment forms a global community that celebrates diversity and individuality. We encourage you to step beyond your comfort zone, offering resources and flexibility to foster your professional and personal growth, all while valuing your unique contributions. Siemens Healthineers is seeking a Software Engineer โ€“ Image Formation / Reconstruction.

In this role, you will contribute to the development of high-performance software and numerical algorithms supporting Siemens Healthineers' Molecular Imaging technologies. Working within a multidisciplinary R&D organization, you will collaborate closely with software engineers, physicists, researchers, and other technical experts to develop scalable and flexible image formation solutions. You will help translate new research concepts and data correction methods into robust, production-quality software while contributing to the architecture, automated testing, performance, and reliability of the overall platform. This is an excellent opportunity for a software engineer who enjoys working at the intersection of C++, mathematics, physics, algorithms, and medical imaging technology.
