Job description

Position Summary

We are seeking an experiencedย Forward Deployment Software Engineerย to support enterprise digital transformation initiatives for leading Financial Services clients. This individual will design, develop, and deploy modern software solutions while partnering directly with business stakeholders to solve complex business challenges.

The ideal candidate hasย 7+ years of software engineering experienceย with strong full-stack development expertise utilizingย TypeScript, React, Python, REST APIs, and cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP). This individual is comfortable working directly with clients, gathering requirements, building scalable applications, integrating enterprise systems, and leveraging AI-assisted development tools to deliver innovative software solutions rapidly. Financial Services and consulting experience is preferred.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and deploy scalable full-stack applications.
  • Participate in client meetings to understand business challenges and develop innovative technology solutions.
  • Develop modern web applications utilizing React, TypeScript, Python, and cloud technologies.
  • Build APIs, integrations, and enterprise workflows.
  • Partner directly with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate business needs into technical solutions.
  • Rapidly prototype and deliver solutions utilizing AI-assisted development tools.
  • Develop AI-enabled applications utilizing LLM technologies.
  • Participate in architecture, solution design, and technology decisions.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog grooming, and code reviews.
  • Mentor junior engineers and promote engineering best practices.

Required Qualifications

  • 7+ years of Software Engineering experience.
  • Strong full-stack development utilizing TypeScript, React, and Python.
  • Experience developing REST APIs, enterprise integrations, and cloud-native applications.
  • Experience with Azure, AWS, or GCP.
  • Experience with Git, CI/CD, and modern software development practices.
  • Experience utilizing AI-assisted development tools (Cursor, Copilot, Claude, or similar).
  • Strong troubleshooting and performance optimization skills.
  • Consulting experience working directly with clients to understand business requirements and deliver technology solutions.
  • Working across a modern full stack (TypeScript, React, Python, REST or GraphQL APIs) with hands-on cloud experience in AWS or Azure
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or Mathematics
