Responsibilities:
  • Utilize your advanced skills in quantitative analysis, data mining, and statistical modeling to generate impactful features and AI/ML based capabilities for Entrata products.
  • Lead initiatives for data-driven decision-making, enhancing the creation, completion, and adoption of our products with a focus on optimization and efficiency.
  • Foster strong collaboration with product managers, engineers and designers to align data science initiatives with product goals.
  • Employ innovative and forward-thinking approaches to identify and evaluate new opportunities for AI/ML contributions within Entrata's long-term roadmap.
  • Execute machine learning and statistical analyses to create practical, scalable, and robust product solutions related to prediction, forecasting and LLMs.
  • Champion best practices in quantitative analysis and strengthen cross-functional relationships.
  • Work alongside engineers and product managers on scoping, ideating, and developing code-based proofs of concept, sharing knowledge and upscaling colleagues in a supportive and engaging manner.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Strong understanding of inferential statistics, experimentation, and machine learning models, with emphasis on feature engineering and model robustness.
  • Expertise in NLP/NLU/NLG models, including LLMs, NERs, Sentiment Analysis, and Topic Modeling.
  • Proficiency in AI/ML production pipeline, with hands-on experience in AWS ecosystem, GitHub, Terraform, and cloud-based ML services like AWS SageMaker, Google AI Platform, or Azure Machine Learning.
  • Proven project management skills leading data projects from conception to implementation, including defining scopes, data gathering, analysis, and stakeholder presentations.
  • Commitment to sharing best practices, creating comprehensive documentation, and staying updated with the latest technologies and methodologies.
  • Experience in containerization and orchestration technologies like Docker, Airflow, and Kubernetes, particularly in the context of ML workflows.
  • Understanding of data governance, privacy, and ethical considerations in AI/ML.
  • Educational background with a BS/BA degree in statistics, mathematics, economics, computer science, or related fields emphasizing statistical analysis and machine learning.
  • 5+ years of quantitative analysis and data science experience.
  • 5+ years of proficiency using SQL, Python, and applied statistical techniques such as inferential methods, causal methods, A/B testing, or statistical modeling techniques.

Preferred Qualifications:
