Job description

Tippecanoe Valley High School is seeking a dedicated Advanced Mathematics & Computer Science Teacher for the 2026–2027 school year. We are looking for an educator who believes in building strong relationships, challenging students academically, and contributing positively to our collaborative school culture.

Position Overview:

This full-time teaching position may include instruction in the following courses: Advanced Geometry & Computing Foundations for a Digital Age.

Responsibilities:

· Deliver high-quality, scaffolded math & computer science instruction aligned to Indiana Academic Standards.

· Use data and assessment practices to inform instruction and support student growth.

· Maintain a structured, positive, and engaging classroom environment.

· Collaborate with department colleagues and school teams to support student success and school-wide literacy goals through explicit reading instruction.

· Communicate effectively with students, families, and staff.

· All other duties assigned by school administration.

Qualifications:

o Valid Indiana Teaching License in Mathematics (or ability to obtain by start date).

o Valid Indiana Teaching License, or Workplace Specialist License, in Computer Science (or ability to obtain by start date).

o Strong knowledge of secondary math content and computer science concepts.
