Job Summary: The position is a Computer Science Teacher for the 2024-2025 school year.
Qualifications: - New Jersey Instructional Certificate (CTE Certification Computer Science)
- Strong knowledge of New Jersey Student Learning Standards.
- Strong Knowledge in Subject Area
- Ability to incorporate interdisciplinary connections as well as apply design thinking
- Ability to support staff with the use Technology tools
- Must be able to support staff members with the infusion of technology standards
- Basic knowledge of how computers work, from the basic science and mathematics behind their operation to the actual hardware and the software built on those foundations.
- Can effectively communicate and provide feedback to students at all levels of understanding.
- Ability to collaborate and develop strong engaging lessons for students that promote STEM, creativity, design thinking and innovation.
- Possesses a great talent in the Integration of Technology
- Understand Cross-curricular connections
- Ability to support teachers and student leadership teams
- Ability to promote strong learning culture
- Ability to collaborate and develop engaging lessons with the faculty and provide support through the classroom activities, coaching, co-teaching and modeling.
- Ability to commit to participate in facilitated Coaching/Leadership Planning
- Nurture and grow student opportunities for leadership in technology and STEM
