What is a math lab coordinator?

A Math Lab Coordinator is an educational professional responsible for overseeing the daily operations of a math lab, which is a resource center where students receive assistance with mathematics coursework. The coordinator manages tutoring schedules, trains and supervises tutors, and develops learning materials to support students' understanding of math concepts. Their goal is to create a supportive environment that helps students succeed in their math studies.

Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills set outstanding coordinators apart by enabling effective support for both students and staff. These skills are crucial for creating a productive learning environment, ensuring efficient lab operations, and fostering student success in mathematics.
