Your day as a Graphic Designer

As a Full-Time Graphic Designer at Mel Trotter Ministries, you will play a pivotal role in the Advancement Department, working closely with the Marketing Manager to elevate our brand through captivating visuals. Your mission? To create high-quality graphics that speak to our public and donor community, using your expertise in Adobe Creative Suite. You'll design and edit an array of content formats-from logos and newsletters to eye-catching social media graphics and videos.

By collaborating with the team and embracing creative conceptualization, your innovative ideas will shine as you meet deadlines and uphold quality standards. With a blend of creativity, technical proficiency, and teamwork, you'll contribute significantly to the Advancement Department's goals, ensuring our message is communicated effectively and resonates with all who engage with our mission.

What you need to be successful

To excel as a Full-Time Graphic Designer at Mel Trotter Ministries, a combination of education, experience, and key skills is essential.

Knowledge and skills required for the position are:

  • Bachelor's degree in graphic design, Visual Communication, or related field required
  • Minimum 2-3 years of related education or job experience
  • Strong graphic design portfolio showcasing layout skills, typography and creativity
