This position requires a positive, self-motivated person with excellent interpersonal communication skills, willing to work in an environment requiring strong emphasis on providing superior student support in conformance with the University mission and values. Tutoring at the University of North Florida is an integral part of Academic Affairs and as such, is measured by its ability to successfully interact with students and to assist in meeting their individual needs. To this end, the tutor will often be required to demonstrate a caring and patient attitude, to utilize conflict resolution skills, and to ensure that every effort is made to supply students with quality academic assistance in the area of tutoring.
