Job Description

The Department of Mathematics at the University of New Orleans is anticipating hiring a non-tenure instructor in mathematics starting Fall 2026 with a beginning date of August 10, 2026.

Job Requirements:

Teach 12 hours per semester in various formats possibly including face-to-face, online synchronous and online asynchronous. Participate in supporting the Pathways program, the Math Tutor Center, committee work, registration, group finals and other departmental activities.

(3) three recommendation letters from within the last two years, and;

(4) any teaching evaluations of all classes taught in the last two years.

Required Qualifications:

Master's Degree in Mathematics or Statistics.

Salary:

Commensurate with experience and qualifications.
