Job description

POSITION SUMMARY: Monitor Math Center and assist students and faculty with any needs that arise.

*Bob Jones University students only*

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Monitor the center for cleanliness and orderliness and promote a general atmosphere conducive to learning and study
  • Answer questions from students and faculty
  • Administer placement tests with provided instructions
  • Troubleshoot basic computer or printer issues

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

  • Must be enrolled as a student at Bob Jones University
  • Must have successfully completed Calculus 1
  • Must be recommended by Math faculty
  • Excellent customer service skills
