Job description

We are seeking a Food Prep Worker to join our client’s team in Cochrane, Alberta. In this role, you will prepare and portion food items in accordance with production requirements and company sanitation standards. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced kitchen or food manufacturing environment.
Location: Cochrane, AB.
Pay Rate: $15.55 per hour.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare, portion, and package food items following standardized recipes and daily worksheets.
  • Ensure proper food handling, storage, and sanitation at all times.
  • Operate kitchen and prep equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Maintain cleanliness of workstations and adhere to health and safety guidelines.
  • Assist with general kitchen duties as required by production needs.

Qualifications:
  • Minimum 1 year of prep or food service-related experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of food prep, knife handling, temperature control, and sanitation practices.
  • Ability to read, write, and perform basic math for recipe measurements and documentation.
