As a Registered Nurse (RN), a typical day may include:
  • The Maternity Nursing team works cooperatively with the multidisciplinary care team to maintain standards for professional nursing practice in the Maternal Child Health setting and participates in shared clinical decision-making, inspirational leadership, supportive colleagues, and much more,
  • Conducting comprehensive patient assessments and recognize subtle clinical changes, using your judgment to intervene early and advocate for your patients

To be considered for this RN opportunity, you must hold an active New Jersey Registered Nurse license in good standing and a current American Heart Association BLS certification, and NRP Certification. A Bachelor's degree in nursing is required or actively enrolled in a BSN program with an expected completion date. Minimum (2) two years of current or recent Maternity/Mother-Baby experience as an RN in an acute care setting. Comfortable with electronic medical record systems (EMR) like EPIC. Must be able to work scheduled as needed with a minimum requirement of 2-3 shifts per month and (1) weekend shift, you will also need to work 1 winter and 1 summer holiday allowing you to build strong patient relationships while maintaining balance.
