About the Position: This is a time limited position. The MIECHV Director provides leadership and oversight for the Maternal, Infant, Early Childhood Home Visiting (MIECHV) program. The position is responsible for managing program operations, supervising staff, ensuring compliance with federal HRSA grant requirements, and overseeing contracts and subgrantees that deliver evidence-based home visiting services. The Director monitors program performance, manages budgets and reporting, coordinates with state and community partners, and ensures implementation of services that improve maternal and child health outcomes for families across Mississippi.
What you'll need to be Successful: The successful candidate must have knowledge of maternal and child health programs and evidence-based home visiting models, as well as familiarity with federal grant management and HRSA MIECHV requirements. Strong skills in staff supervision, program management, performance monitoring, data analysis, and financial oversight are essential. The position also requires effective communication, collaboration with internal and external partners, and the ability to ensure compliance with federal and state policies while managing multiple priorities.
