Job Description
Support and contribute to programs, providing solutions valued by customers and driving profitable growth. Work may include research, applications development, materials enhancements and/or cost-out initiatives.
Level II: In applying acquired capabilities, able to carry out a range of responsibilities across assigned areas. Able to operate across existing and supporting new applications as appropriate. Technical/product support across multiple products and/or processes. Is sought for technical / product support by others.
WHAT YOU GET TO DO
  • Support representing the company's technical voice to the customer in collaboration with internal stakeholders
  • Collaborate to understand customer needs and rapidly drive the design, development and implementation of products and/or processes aligned to customer/market needs and business strategy
  • Exchange standard/basic technical information to customer and stakeholder requests toward solving a customer/technical need
  • Support projects within the innovation pipeline
  • Collaborate with areas such as Engineering, Operations and Quality to resolve technical challenges, supporting sustained solution ownership
  • Contribute to the definition of critical to quality specifications; author development technical specifications, waivers, etc.
  • Support Stage Gate programs while learning core risk management principles and processes
  • With guidance from other R&D personnel, plan, execute and analyze production trials with Design of Experiment, Lean, and statistical analysis, following organizational processes for aligning materials and execution.
  • Learn and apply foundational understandings of material/polymer properties and equipment capability in order to deliver best solutions
  • Demonstrate basic technical skills and aptitude for problem solving Become familiar with different problem solving tools in leveraging internal and organizational curiosity to apply new ideas
