Job description

Job Title: Supply Chain Planner
Job Description
This role manages end-to-end purchasing, planning, and inventory control activities in a high-SKU, fast-paced environment. You will use Oracle ERP and advanced Excel skills to ensure accurate inventory, timely purchasing, and seamless coordination with 3PL partners and fulfillment channels. The position focuses on maintaining product availability, minimizing stockouts and excess inventory, and supporting cross-functional teams to meet customer demand and revenue goals.
Responsibilities
  • Update, monitor, and follow up on purchase orders within Oracle to ensure accuracy and timely execution.
  • Communicate proactively with suppliers regarding order acknowledgements, lead times, open orders, delivery dates, and shipment status.
  • Expedite materials and finished goods as needed to support inventory availability and customer demand.
  • Track open purchase orders and escalate delays, shortages, or supplier risks to appropriate internal stakeholders.
  • Support resolution of receipt, invoice, quantity, and supplier discrepancies in partnership with internal teams.
  • Review demand, forecast inputs, inventory levels, open purchase orders, open manufacturing orders, and warehouse balances to make informed replenishment decisions.
  • Identify out-of-stock risks, low inventory positions, excess or slow-moving inventory, and potential supply disruptions, and take action to mitigate them.
  • Support safety stock, reorder point, and demand-based planning activities across multiple warehouse locations.
  • Partner with Production, Materials, Logistics, Customer Service, and Sales support teams to prioritize inventory needs based on customer demand and revenue risk.
  • Maintain accurate planning data to support Oracle MRP, purchasing processes, inventory visibility, and replenishment execution.
  • Use Oracle ERP to support planning, inventory management, receiving, supplier data, item data, and reporting activities.
  • Review Oracle outputs and exception reports to identify purchase requirements, supply gaps, demand changes, and inventory concerns.
  • Collaborate with internal support teams to resolve planning, receiving, inventory, and data-related issues in Oracle.
  • Ensure data accuracy for purchase orders, receipts, item attributes, supplier information, lead times, planning parameters, and inventory transactions.
  • Support process stabilization, transaction cleanup, and reporting needs in a live Oracle environment.
  • Coordinate with 3PL partners to support inbound receipts, outbound shipments, inventory accuracy, replenishment, and fulfillment requirements.
  • Monitor Amazon-related inventory levels, replenishment needs, shipment timing, and stock-out risks.
  • Support Amazon fulfillment requirements, including inventory availability, shipment planning, warehouse coordination, ASN or shipment documentation, and issue resolution.
  • Work closely with Logistics and Customer Service teams to resolve 3PL order issues, inventory discrepancies, shipment delays, and fulfillment concerns.
  • Ensure 3PL and Amazon inventory activity aligns with Oracle records and internal replenishment plans.
  • Analyze high volumes of SKUs to support purchasing and inventory decisions, ensuring consistent product availability.

Essential Skills
  • 6+ months of experience in planning, materials management, inventory management, or supply chain operations.
  • ERP experience (Oracle is preferred)
  • Experience working with 3PL warehouses, including inventory movements, inbound and outbound logistics, and warehouse replenishment.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, data comparison, and inventory analysis.
  • Ability to read and interpret inventory, demand, customer, supplier, and warehouse data to support decision-making.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to follow up clearly and professionally with internal teams and external partners.
  • Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and escalate risks appropriately.
  • Experience working with high volumes of SKUs, including environments managing over 1,000 SKUs.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $28.00/hr.
