Job description

RESPONSIBILITIES: Job Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Maintain the site computerized work management system.

  • Ensure Maximo and LMBuildings work status accuracy including time recording and log entries.

  • Assist in all move activities including assistance to the Facility Maintenance Services technicians with inspections and other tasks as required.

  • Ensure all access, resources; skills, materials and tools available prior to scheduling job to insure limited down time productivity.

  • Comply with all established safety rules, company policies, and procedures.

  • Assist in maintaining clean, orderly and hazard-free work areas.

  • Ability to read and understand technical manuals and prints, ability to do various forms of paperwork (written), possess adequate math skills commensurate with the requirements of the trade.

Qualifications

Must be US CITIZEN,

High School Diploma or GED

Valid Driver's License

Two (2) years furniture installation and material experience required.

Lift/carry up to 50lbs.

Understand written sentences and paragraphs in work related documents.

Effective communication skills (oral and written).

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and to manage multiple priorities/projects simultaneously.

Provide commercial furniture installation and plant move operations which includes furniture set up, deliveries, reconfiguration or existing furniture as well as assisting in recycling and surplus operations.

Strong communications skills, both verbal and written, are a must across all levels of the workforce.

Keen attention to detail and ability to effectively manage time.

Willingness to acquire and maintain forklift certification required.

Ability to obtain and maintain any required security clearance including any future requirements or changes.

Ideally, you'll also have:

One (1) year experience working Office Suite programs (i.e. word, excel, & outlook) preferred
