Job description

Summary/Objective:
In this role, the Material Handler II will be responsible for order processing and fulfillment of customer orders. This role includes working with other warehouse team members.
Essential Functions:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
  • Use of computer to enter data and print labels or other shipping information
  • Operate all necessary equipment in work area (printers, scales and computer)
  • Moves materials onto pallets or racks and prepare orders for shipment
  • Process customer orders as requested and as specified by the customer
  • Sort and segregate materials onto to correct pallet or other specified locations
  • Place labels on boxes or materials as instructed in the customer order
  • Identify damage, loss, or surplus of materials and communicate issues
  • Utilizes RF (Radio Frequency) equipment to track product
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
  • Ability to sit, stand, walk, kneel, bend, lift, push and pull and withstand temperatures in a warehouse environment
  • Ability to read and understand English (customer instructions and specifications are written in English)
  • Communicate and cooperate with supervisors and coworkers
  • Keep a clean and safe work environment
  • Follow quality service standards and comply with procedures, rules and regulations, including safety
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Required Education and Experience
