Material Handler
Position Summary:
The Material Handler is responsible for the safe and efficient movement of materials throughout the facility using Sit Down Forklifts, Pallet Jacks, and other material handling equipment. This role plays a critical part in ensuring smooth operations by supporting material flow, inventory accuracy, and order fulfillment.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Material Movement: Safely transport raw materials, in process components, and finished goods throughout the manufacturing facility.
  • Loading/Unloading: Load and unload trucks and other delivery vehicles with attention to product safety and damage prevention.
  • Inventory Management: Accurately receive, store, issue, and track inventory to support production and shipping needs.
  • Order Fulfillment: Pick, pack, label, and prepare materials and products for shipment per established procedures.
  • Safety Compliance: Follow all company safety guidelines and OSHA regulations when operating equipment and handling materials.
  • Equipment Operation: Operate Sit Down Forklifts, Pallet Jacks, and other material handling tools safely and efficiently.
  • Communication: Work closely with team members, supervisors, and production staff to ensure timely and accurate material flow.
  • Housekeeping: Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
Skills and Qualifications:
  • Experience: Previous experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment with material handling duties.
  • Equipment Operation: Certified or capable of being certified to operate forklifts and other handling equipment.
