Step into Your New Role
Kleinfelder's Irving (DFW) TX office is seeking a Construction Materials and Geotechnical Testing Laboratory Technician to join our team.
We're looking for a person with strong initiative, who will perform routine to complex testing for construction materials and geotechnical testing in the laboratory, in order to verify conformance to standards and specifications
Specific responsibilities will include:
  • Performing concrete cylinder compression testing
  • Following proper procedures and standards
  • Performing daily routine testing of construction materials and geotechnical samples
  • Performing accurate computations
  • Maintaining cordial relationships with co-workers, clients, contractors, etc. and

Consideration for this position requires that following certification(s) or experience:
  • ACI Concrete Compression Strength Technician - Level 1

The Laboratory Technician will prepare daily reports and data sheets and may be called upon to perform various tasks at the discretion of the supervisor.
The preferred candidate will have 0-3 years of construction materials laboratory testing experience; however we will train the correct individual.
PREFERRED CERTIFICATIONS
  • NICET - Level I (Soils and/or Construction Materials Testing)

Valid driver's license and clean driving record required.
Education: High school diploma or equivalent required
