We are in search of a Research Scientist to join our TERA-print team. In this role, you will help develop our proprietary nanofabrication technology and progress it into the realm of complex material synthesis with the ultimate aim of shaping the future of electronics and advanced materials for defense. Your skillset and passion for technology, paired with creativity and enthusiasm will be critical for achieving our ambitious development goals, and shaping the next generation of the technology.ย
TERA-print is an award-winning, rapidly growing startup disrupting the way research in materials science, chemistry, biology, and physics is done today. We build the worldโs most innovative desktop nanoprinters, based on the technology pioneered by Chad Mirkin, Professor of Chemistry at Northwestern University and a co-founder of TERA-print.ย
Researchers around the world have been using our tools for the past 10 years and publishing cutting-edge research in materials discovery, tissue engineering, molecular diagnostics and polymer chemistry among others. With these tools, researchers can prototype molecular diagnostic devices and nanoelectronic circuits, perform highly-localized photochemistry, and discover new nanomaterials at an unprecedented rate, just to name a few of the diverse applications of our technology. We are looking for an accomplished and driven individual in chemistry, materials science, physics or chemical engineering to drive the development of this technology into thin-film material synthesis. This role will allow you to work in a fast-paced and collaborative team focused on tackling challenges related to the future of advanced manufacturing, scaling paradigm-shifting materials from the laboratory scale to the fab.ย
This is a great opportunity to join a dynamic, fast-paced innovative nanotechnology company, and impact the future!ย
