In the assigned Job Role of Engineering Consultant 2, your Area Of Responsibility will be as below:
โ€ข Elicit and document business and technical requirements, translating them into actionable specifications for the team
โ€ข Participate in design meetings, create initial design concepts, and support the development of design sketches and models using established engineering tools and techniques
โ€ข Participate in iterative engineering design cycles, refine prototypes, and coordinate with teams to implement feedback effectively
โ€ข Develop and refine solution specifications and perform validation activities, including simulations, to ensure that engineering solutions meet design specifications and criteria
โ€ข Build and refine prototypes, incorporating testing results and feedback received from cross-functional team, to enhance functionality
โ€ข Undertake technical integration efforts, ensure system functionality, identify and resolve interoperability issues
โ€ข Develop and maintain comprehensive technical documentation and assist in organizing knowledge-sharing sessions among team members

Required Skill and Experience
Bachelor's of Science degree in Engineering from an ABET accredited University
Domain knowledge : Aerospace
Process : Aircraft Structural Design Engineering
MRB delegation from the OEM (e.g., Boeing)
Preferred Skill and Experience
Experience with Material Review Board in aerospace production environment.
Aerospace or mechanical engineering degree preferred.
Experience with composite materials in design.
Knowledge of CATIA V5 programs
Experience in reading and interpreting aircraft maintenance documents, engineering repair design, and repair substantiation working for an airline, FAA (Federal Aviation Administration) Part 145 Repair Station, and/or aircraft OEM Liaison.
Additional Required Qualifications
โ€ข Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
