Job description


The Material Planning Coordinator / Expeditor will have the following duties:
  • Contact vendors to ensure that materials, supplies, and equipment are shipped and delivered on promised dates
  • Enter updated information on deliveries in Purchase Order Expedite Notes, communicate delivery issues, coordinate with material planners, purchasing, engineering, program management, and others as required
  • Maintain records and coordinate return of items to vendors as required
  • Expedite items through the receiving and incoming inspection processes as needed
Performs other related duties as assigned.
Required Skills and Education
  • Must have: High school diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 1 year of related experience
  • Experience expediting materials, procurement, procurement support, materials planning, or manufacturing environment-related work
  • Skills must include Excel, Microsoft Word, Email
  • Ability to communicate clearly with others utilizing verbal and written skills
