Responsibilities
  • Own the performance of Exotec systems at client sites
  • Oversee the reliability of client sites, analyzing performance, and creating and executing performance improvement plans
  • Analyze the root cause of issues escalated from Exotec Control Center
  • Act as level 2 escalation for non-core products (3rd party conveyors, etc.)
  • Work directly with clients to diagnose and resolve interoperability issues
  • Plan and execute site software and system updates
  • In conjunction with the sites managers, coach on-site technicians on site best practices to support uptime targets
  • Propose and help drive maintenance procedures and process improvements across North America and globally.
  • Actively engage with Exotec R&D and product teams on specific maintenance issues
  • As part of the client team, work with the client contract engineer and sites manager to respond to client requests, including monthly performance reporting

  • 5+ years of robotics maintenance experience, ideally in the industrial automation, materials handling, warehousing and/or logistics sectors
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in engineering required
  • Broad knowledge on software, mechanical and electrical engineering
  • Strong analytical and data interpretation skills with an enjoyment for solving problems, both big and small
  • Customer service mindset
  • Ability to collaborate with others as well as drive your own work
  • A comfort in communicating regularly with clients, contractors and suppliers
  • Travelling up to 60% to client sites across North America
