Materials ManagerLocation: Oak Lawn, IL

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Materials Manager to join our ophthalmology surgery center and clinic located in Oak Lawn and Oakbrook, IL. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the procurement, inventory management, and distribution of medical and surgical materials to ensure smooth operations and optimal patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the procurement and inventory of ophthalmology surgical supplies, medical equipment, and clinic materials.
  • Coordinate with surgeons, clinical staff, and vendors to ensure timely availability of necessary materials.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and perform regular audits to prevent shortages or overstock situations.
  • Develop and implement inventory control procedures to optimize cost efficiency and reduce waste.
  • Collaborate with the finance department to manage budgets related to materials and supplies.
  • Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and safety standards related to material handling and storage.
