MATERIAL HANDLER
Automation Personnel Services is looking for a hardworking, reliable Material Handler for a well-established hardware retailer and lumber yard based in Robertsdale, AL. On this team you will handle and maintain the flow of materials and products on the premises. Loading, unloading, stacking, maintaining inventory and pulling orders for customers. You will be in a production environment, subject to temperature variations, mechanical parts, increased noise levels and dust.

Material Handler Duties and Responsibilities
• Provide general labor services as needed in the lumber yard including climbing, lifting, pushing or kneeling

• Ability to carry, stack, and lift pieces of lumber and materials
• Perform necessary tasks to ensure good housekeeping for a safe and efficient operation
• Operate motorized and non-motorized material handling equipment, some of which may require specialized training
• Respond attentively to training from foreman or senior handlers to increase knowledge of work processes, be a team player
• Attend periodic safety meetings as required
