Job description

Olsten Staffing is assisting a local client in Bennettsville, South Carolina to find an experienced and eager Material Handler/Order Picker to join their growing team!
This role is responsible for the movement, storage, and distribution of materials throughout the facility using various types of material handling equipment. Candidates must be comfortable working at heights, experienced with order pickers, and demonstrate a stable work history and strong reliability.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate material handling equipment including forklifts, order pickers, pallet jacks, and reach trucks
  • Pick, stage, and transport materials accurately according to work orders and inventory needs
  • Safely operate order pickers at elevated heights while following all fall-protection and safety procedures
  • Load and unload trucks while ensuring product integrity and proper documentation
  • Maintain organization of warehouse storage areas and assist with inventory counts
  • Perform routine equipment inspections and report maintenance needs
  • Follow all company safety policies and warehouse procedures
Qualifications & Requirements:
  • Previous material handling or warehouse experience required
  • Order picker experience and comfort working at heights required
  • Experience operating multiple types of material handling equipment preferred
  • Valid driver's license required (must be eligible to operate a forklift)
  • Demonstrated stable and reliable work history
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods
  • Strong attention to detail and safety awareness
