Position: Material Handler
Location: Somerset NJ 08873
Duration: 6 Months Contract
 
Pay Rate:$25/hr on w2.

Job Description
We are seeking a reliable and safety-conscious Material Handler to join our production team. In this role, you will be responsible for replenishing chemicals and raw materials from stock to production areas, maintaining proper inventory levels, and supporting production efficiency through safe and effective material handling.

Key Responsibilities:
Transport and stage drums, totes, and palletized materials for production use.
Remove empty containers from production areas and relocate them to recycling zones.
Maintain and replenish raw material stations including hot room, powder area, and dispensing zones.
Utilize the Fricke Inventory Management/Forecast System to stage and track materials.
Collaborate with the Automation Operator to ensure raw materials are properly staged and available for robotic operations.
Refill bulk storage tanks and day tanks using portable pumps, ensuring proper inventory levels in each.
Operate forklifts, hand trucks, drum lifts, and elevators in accordance with company safety standards.
Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all safety guidelines and procedures.

Additional Responsibilities:
Provide assistance to other departments as needed.
Train new material handlers as assigned.
Support year-end physical inventory processes.

Required Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
Prior experience operating forklifts and material-handling equipment.
Ability to lift up to 60 lbs. and handle heavy materials safely.
Strong communication skills and ability to follow instructions accurately.
