Job description

Position Overview
Performs activities pertaining to the receiving, storing, and shipping of manufactured and imported raw materials and finished goods to our production facility.
Position Hours: 11:00pm - 7:30am; Sunday PM - Friday AM (5 days a week)
Hourly pay rate: $20.00 + $1.50 Shift Differential
Essential Job Functions
  1. Ensure all products are received, stored, picked, issued to a work order and loaded onto transfer trailers accurately and in a timely manner.
  2. Certified to safely operate either a sit down or stand up forklift. Operate forklift safely and correctly in environment that includes foot traffic and production employees.
  3. Use handheld scanners to perform computer transactions using barcodes and hand input to keep computerized inventory system accurate and updated on a real time basis. Complete all paperwork neatly, legibly, and accurately. Work with the warehouse manager to correct and research any/all issues as required.
  4. Locates materials and supplies by pulling and verifying materials and supplies listed on production work orders.
  5. Use manual effort to handle individual pieces into and out of containers, pick orders, sort and palletize incoming freight.
  6. Stretch wrap completed pallets by hand or using automatic or semi-automatic machinery
  7. Perform key departmental tasks in a safe, competent and capable manner. Tasks include, assisting Fragrance Technician with materials, front end production material handler, pack end production material handler, raw material warehouse picking, reintegration warehouse assistance, and other forklift help as required.
  8. Must be able to work assigned work schedule and overtime may be required, as needed.
  9. Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
  1. Six months sit down or stand up forklift experience.
  2. Six months RF scanning/handheld computer bar coding device experience
  3. Able to pass a basic math test.
  4. Knowledge of shipping practices and standards.
  5. Detail orientated and highly accurate.
Physical Requirements
  1. Ability to maintain single-task focus and situational awareness.
  2. Must be able to move and lift up to 50-pounds of material. (i.e. wooden or plastic pallet)
