Materials & Inventory Control Supervisor
JOB SUMMARY
Responsible for supervising a team focused on properly receiving, storing, controlling, moving, consuming, shipping, and verifying the factory's inventories and supplies utilizing SAP Inventory and Warehouse Management Systems.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
  • Supervises and provides leadership for the functional group's development, direction, and effectiveness, adhering to organizational policies and processes and supporting overall business and corporate objectives.
  • Contributes to development and responsible for running area within budget guidelines.
  • Ensures operations schedules are met within budget through appropriate use of human and technology resources, scheduling and effective problem solving.
  • Works with internal resources to resolve problems.
  • Conducts writing and delivering of annual performance reviews for all direct reports, providing honest and constructive performance feedback.
  • Maintains consistency in issues related to company policy and practices.
  • Ensures maintaining accurate timekeeping documentation for associates and provides and maintains ongoing payroll and HR supporting documentation.
  • Facilitates group meetings.
  • Provides availability for flexible work schedule.
  • Ensures the safe and efficient movement of materials on the campus.
  • Trains associates and ensures proper procedures are followed.
  • Responsible for the team's proper use of business transactions, enabling accuracy for inventory and compliant batch level controls.
  • Supporting the manager of the area and the goals of the team.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
Education
Bachelor's degree or, equivalent of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential functions of the job may be considered.
Experience
  • Minimum 2 years experience.
  • Experience in material movement within a warehouse setting preferred.

Skills
  • Demonstrated expertise with executing ERP systems in a repetitive manufacturing environment.
  • Demonstrated leadership and presentation skills.
  • Working knowledge of performance reports and how activities in area of responsibility affect them.
  • Experience and knowledge of technology and methods applicable to the area.
  • Maintains working knowledge of quality management techniques and ability to develop quality and productivity goals and measures.
  • Skilled in material control principles and warehousing concepts.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
  • Proven ability to lead and mentor others.
  • Knowledge of regulatory and compliance guidelines and practices.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
