Labcorp is recruiting a Warehouse Associate/Materials Control Worker for a dynamic team in Columbia, MD.
Position Summary:
Pick, QC, and pack shipments while aiding in inbound, outbound, and kitting/restocking operations using WMS.
Job Responsibilities:
  • Assist with daily UPS drop-off for inbound shipments. Transfer all packages from truck, stack, and transport to sorting area
  • Sort all inbound material using WMS on handheld device; restock or bring to kitting areas as needed
  • Pick and pack shipments daily using WMS on handheld device
  • Assist with kitting tasks as needed
  • Stock newly received inventory
  • Restock depleted pick locations with reserve inventory as needed or when directed
  • Conduct daily cycle counts using WMS on handheld device
  • Assist with administrative tasks as needed
  • Assist with larger-scale projects such as inventory re-orgs
  • Maintain clean and organized workspaces
  • Assist with other tasks as determined by warehouse management

Minimum Qualifications:
  • HS Diploma
  • 1 or more years' experience using smartphone devices
  • 1 or more years' experience using PCs for basic functions (e.g., using web browser, checking email)
  • 1 or more years' experience working on feet for 8+ hours a day
  • 1 or more years' experience lifting up to 70 lbs daily

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Current or previous Labcorp experience.
  • 1 or more years' experience using handheld scanner devices

Additional Job Standards:
  • Organization and attention to detail
  • Ability to work in fast-paced environment and adapt to changing conditions

Work Environment:
This job operates in a professional environment. This role routinely uses standard warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks, dollies, safety box cutters. Additionally, this role makes use of Android handheld devices and PCs to operate WMS

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to:
  • Lift/Carry boxes weighing up to 70 lbs.

All job offers will be based on a candidate's skills and prior relevant experience, applicable degrees/certifications, as well as internal equity and market data.
Benefits: Employees regularly scheduled to work 20 or more hours per week are eligible for comprehensive benefits including: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, STD/LTD, 401(k), Paid Time Off (PTO) or Flexible Time Off (FTO), Tuition Reimbursement and Employee Stock Purchase Plan. Employees regularly scheduled to work less than 20 hours, Casual, Intern, and Temporary employees are only eligible to participate in the 401(k) Plan.
