Position Overview
We are seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented, and computer-proficient Fulfillment & Quality Control Associate to support shipping, receiving, inventory, quality control, and production operations.
This position combines hands-on warehouse and manufacturing responsibilities with significant computer, ERP, documentation, mathematical, and quality-control work. The successful candidate will be comfortable working on a computer, inspecting and measuring products, maintaining inventory records, and physically preparing customer orders for shipment.
Accuracy, organization, communication, and strong follow-through are essential to this role.
Key Responsibilities
Shipping & Fulfillment
* Pick, verify, package, label, and ship customer orders accurately and on schedule.
* Review customer orders and production information in the ERP system to confirm products, quantities, specifications, and shipping requirements.
* Complete ERP transactions related to inventory, finished goods, shipping, and receiving.
* Prepare shipping documents, product labels, packing slips, and related records.
* Coordinate daily priorities to ensure customer orders are completed by required ship dates.
* Receive incoming materials and verify quantities and documentation.
* Maintain accurate shipping and receiving records.
* Communicate order issues, shortages, discrepancies, and potential delays promptly.
Quality Control & Inspection
* Perform incoming, in-process, and final inspections according to company specifications and quality procedures.
* Measure tubing and other products using vernier calipers, gauges, scales, and other measurement equipment.
* Read and interpret dimensional specifications, tolerances, fractions, decimals, and English and metric measurements.
* Perform calculations and conversions necessary to verify product specifications and quantities.
* Verify products meet dimensional, visual, labeling, packaging, and documentation requirements before shipment.
* Accurately record inspection results in company systems, spreadsheets, and quality documentation.
* Identify and segregate nonconforming products and communicate quality issues to management and production personnel.
* Maintain organized QC records to support product traceability.
ERP, Computer & Administrative Responsibilities
* Use the ERP system to review and update orders, inventory, production, shipping, and receiving information.
* Accurately enter and maintain data within company software systems.
* Use Microsoft Excel to enter, organize, review, and analyze production, inventory, shipping, and QC information.
* Work comfortably with spreadsheets, email, shared files, PDFs, and other common business software.
* Maintain organized electronic records and company files.
* Review information across systems and identify missing, inconsistent, or incorrect data.

Production Support
* Operate cutting, winding, fabrication, and small assembly equipment after completing required training.
* Safely use basic hand tools and mechanical equipment.
* Assist with material preparation, product handling, and other production activities as needed.
* Maintain clean, organized, and safe shipping, QC, inventory, and material preparation areas.
Qualifications
* High school diploma or GED required; additional technical or college education is a plus.
* Minimum 2 years of experience in shipping, receiving, fulfillment, inventory, manufacturing, quality control, or a similar environment preferred.
* Strong computer skills are required.
* Previous experience with an ERP, MRP, inventory management, warehouse management, or similar business system strongly preferred.
* Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, including data entry, basic formulas, sorting, filtering, and working with spreadsheets.
* Strong mathematical ability, including fractions, decimals, percentages, ratios, unit conversions, and basic calculations.
* Comfortable working with both English and metric units of measurement.
* Ability to accurately read measurements and learn to use calipers, gauges, scales, and other inspection equipment.

Training & Selection Process
Candidates will be required to complete an evaluation test as part of the selection process. The evaluation may include basic math, measurement, computer, Excel, organization, and problem-solving skills relevant to the position.
The selected candidate will receive training on products, ERP processes, quality requirements, measurement equipment, shipping procedures, inventory processes, material handling, and applicable production equipment.
The position may include an initial evaluation period, including employment through a staffing agency, before conversion to permanent full-time employment.
