Job Title: Kitter - Aerospace Manufacturing
Position Summary
We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Kitter to support aerospace production operations. This position is responsible for monitoring production floor inventory, replenishing parts bins, performing manual inventory counts, and ensuring seat builders and production teams have the materials needed to maintain workflow efficiency. Candidates should be comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and using computer systems for inventory tracking.
Key Responsibilities
• Perform proactive floor walks to monitor seat builder bins and material levels
• Refill bins with parts and materials to support continuous production flow
• Conduct manual part counts and maintain accurate inventory levels
• Enter part numbers and inventory information into computer systems
• Assist with organizing and staging materials for production areas
• Operate stand-up hi-lo/forklift equipment occasionally as needed
• Maintain clean and organized work areas following 5S standards
• Support inventory control and material handling activities
• Communicate material shortages or inventory discrepancies to supervisors
• Follow all safety procedures and PPE requirementsQualifications
• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Previous kitting, material handling, warehouse, or manufacturing experience preferred
• Basic computer and data entry skills
• Experience with inventory counting and material replenishment
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to stand, walk, and lift throughout the shift
• Forklift or stand-up hi-lo experience preferredPreferred Skills
• Aerospace manufacturing experience
• Inventory control and warehouse experience
• Experience using ERP or inventory systems
• Material handling and production support experience
• Knowledge of FIFO procedures and inventory accuracyWork Environment
• Aerospace manufacturing facility
• Fast-paced production floor environment
• Frequent walking and material handling throughout shift
• PPE and steel-toe boots required
