Overview:

Ōnin Staffing is hiring an Inventory Control Associate for a client in the South Valley area of Albuquerque, NM. This is a full-time, temp-to-hire opportunity at a lumber yard for someone who is dependable, detail-oriented, and comfortable working outside.
This position is a great fit for someone who can stay organized, count accurately, use basic computer skills, communicate well in English and Spanish, and keep up with a busy outdoor work environment.
Pay: $16/hr
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM–2:30 PM
Location: Far South Valley area of Albuquerque, NM
Position Type: Full-time, temp-to-hire
Job Responsibilities:

  • Count, track, and verify lumber and materials in the yard
  • Assist with inventory control and material organization
  • Enter or update information using basic computer systems
  • Use basic math skills to count, calculate, and confirm material quantities
  • Walk the lumber yard throughout the shift to check, locate, and verify products
  • Pay close attention to detail to ensure inventory accuracy
  • Communicate with the team about material counts, shortages, or discrepancies
  • Communicate effectively in English and Spanish
  • Work outside in different weather conditions
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
