Job description

Material Handler 3

Revelyst, is a collective of makers who design and manufacture performance gear and precision technologies. Our category-defining brands leverage meticulous craftsmanship and cross-collaboration to pursue innovation and redefine what is humanly possible in the outdoors.

The Material Handler 3 is responsible for training all new hires on distribution procedures, with an emphasis on warehouse equipment operation, standard operating procedures, and proper paperwork handling. This role involves performing a variety of tasks related to the fulfillment and shipment of products within the warehouse.

This position reports to the Distribution Supervisor and is based out of our Olathe, Kansas location.

As the Material Handler 3, you will have an opportunity to:

  • Operate forklift equipment (various types)
  • Provide best in class equipment training for our warehouse associates – new hires, recertification and post-accident
  • Conduct new hire Safety Training
  • Maintain and update training files for all warehouse associates as well as assisting with driver related documentation
  • Receive and process product into warehouse
  • Pick and pack product to fulfill orders
  • Prepare product for shipment
  • Assist with other projects as required
  • Other duties as required

You have:

  • 1+ years of related experience
  • Must be forklift certified; or willing to become forklift certified
  • Working knowledge of RF gun
  • Basic understanding of a Distribution Center
  • Good reading and comprehensive skills to read orders, bills of lading, etc.
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Basic Computer skills
  • Basic understanding of sound safety practices and good housekeeping requirements
  • Bilingual (Spanish Preferred)

Abilities:

  • Standing, lifting, walking, kneeling, and bending for extended periods of time; regularly will be required to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Perform physical activities that require considerable use of arms, hands and legs. Moving of whole body to lift, reach, grasp, balance, and stoop when handling warehouse materials for an extended period and/or an entire work shift.
  • Specific vision abilities include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception

Environment: Exposure to noise, dust, and climate changes

Hours: Monday- Thursday (4:30pm- 3am)

Compensation: $21.30/hr.

The actual annual salary offered to a candidate will be based on variables including experience, geographic location, education, and skills/achievements, and will be mutually agreed upon at the time of offer.
