Job description

Registered Nurse - Level II Trauma Center

Location: Hudson, FL

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: Shift: 8 AM - 4:30 PM. Traveler shall be scheduled in accordance with facility policy and is expected to work every other weekend and holidays in rotation with hospital employees.

Job Description: The Registered Nurse will provide high-quality nursing care to patients in a Level II Trauma Center. The nurse will be responsible for assessing patient needs, developing and implementing nursing care plans, and collaborating with healthcare team members to deliver optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' health status.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
  • Monitor patient progress and document changes.
  • Educate patients and their families on care plans and follow-up procedures.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to enhance patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

  • Current RN license in the state of Florida.
  • Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience in an acute care setting.
  • BLS and ACLS certifications required.
