Your Role
  • Performing thorough patient evaluations, ordering necessary diagnostic tests, and creating personalized care strategies
  • Diagnosing and managing acute, chronic, or episodic conditions both independently and in collaboration with physicians, as per your credentials
  • Guiding patients and their families in prevention, wellness, and chronic disease management
  • Prescribing medications and therapies within your scope of practice

  • Working with interdisciplinary teams to provide cohesive, comprehensive care
  • Accurately documenting patient interactions in electronic medical records (EMR)
Qualifications
  • Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
  • Graduation from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
Certification Requirements
  • Current Nurse Practitioner license in the state of Colorado
  • National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP or ANCC) or specialty equivalent
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications, or the ability to obtain these within 90 days
