Job description

Pay Range: $90 per 45 minute class
Location: San Francisco, CA at the gorgeous 425 Market St
Work Hours: Tuesdays between 4:45pm - 5:30pm. Intermittent subbing for pop-up classes and/or events as needed. Instructors must arrive at least 15 minutes before class starting for set up and are responsible for cleaning up after the class.

Your Mission:
Your mission as a Mat Pilates Instructor is to lead group fitness and pop up classes at The Forum Studio. You will be dedicated to creating a welcoming and inclusive environment, bringing strong energy, professionalism and high quality class experience to students of all levels.
What You're Responsible For:
  • Group Programming: Plan and lead engaging Mat Pilates classes for a diverse membership population, including regularly scheduled classes, pop-ups, and sub sessions. Deliver well-structured workouts that cater to varying fitness levels while maintaining energy, flow, and safety.
  • Five-Star Hospitality Service: Ensure wonderful experience for members by anticipating their needs and bringing special touches to every session, for example: equipment is prepared ahead of time, towels placed on mats, and the smallest details of the member experience are attended to.
  • Tenant Satisfaction and Engagement: Prioritize tenant satisfaction by actively engaging with tenants to understand their needs and preferences. Implement innovative strategies and programs to enhance their experience, fostering a vibrant and connected community that drives long-term loyalty and satisfaction.
  • Building Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with the building maintenance and operations teams to ensure the facility and equipment are well-maintained.

Baseline Requirements:
  • You have 1+ years of experience in a fitness center environment teaching Mat Pilates classes and leading group fitness.
  • Even better if your experience has touched the corporate fitness or wellness sector.
  • You must have a valid Mat Pilates certification.
  • Even better if you have additional group fitness class certifications (e.g. yoga, HIIT, Strength)
  • You have an up-to-date CPR and AED certification.
  • You are technologically savvy and can assist members with class sign-ups through our native technology.

  • Stellar Communication: You are known for clearly communicating your points - whether in email or verbally. In this role you'll be communicating a lot about bookings (both coordinating them and confirming), sending vendor communications, and engaging with different levels of tenants (office managers to C-Suite).
