Position Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented, customer-focused, and Experienced Custom Picture/Art Framer to support daily operations in a custom framing shop. This role involves hands-on custom picture/art framing with the occasional question in a client consultation. The ideal candidate has experience framing, strong craftsmanship skills, enjoys working independently, and is able to work with others on the team to get a piece of art framed for the client.
Key Responsibilities:
- Measure artwork and prepare orders accurately
- Able to use a glass cutter
- Proficient with Wizard or other mat cutting machine
- Perform hands-on framing tasks such as cutting, assembling, and finishing frames
- Maintain quality standards and attention to detail across all projects
