Press Feeder

A Press Feeder at Huhtamaki supports printing operations by supplying materials to printing presses, maintaining production flow, and ensuring quality standards for food packaging products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Load paperboard, cartons, or other materials into printing presses.
  • Assist press operators with machine setup, operation, and changeovers.
  • Monitor material flow to ensure continuous production.
  • Inspect printed products for color, alignment, print quality, and defects.
  • Remove defective materials and report quality issues.
  • Maintain an adequate supply of ink, paper, and other production materials.
  • Keep the press area clean, organized, and compliant with 5S and safety standards.
  • Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), safety procedures, and company policies.
  • Complete production paperwork and assist with inventory of materials.
  • Help perform routine cleaning and basic preventive maintenance on equipment.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Previous manufacturing, printing, or packaging experience is an advantage.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
  • Mechanical aptitude and ability to work around industrial machinery.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
