Job Summary:

The Associate Branch Manager supports the daily operations, customer service, fleet utilization, and team performance of a Master's Transportation rental branch. This role serves as a key leadership partner to the District Manager and helps ensure the successful execution of branch objectives related to revenue growth, customer satisfaction, fleet readiness, operational efficiency, and employee development. The Associate Branch Manager provides hands-on leadership across rental operations, transportation logistics, vehicle preparation, customer account management, and branch administration while maintaining Master's Transportation's commitment to delivering exceptional service and safe, reliable transportation solutions.

Essential Functions:

  • Assist in managing the day-to-day operations of the branch.
  • Ensure the branch operates efficiently and complies with company policies and procedures.
  • Monitor and manage inventory, supplies, and equipment.
  • Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction by addressing customer needs and resolving issues.
  • Handle complex customer inquiries and complaints with professionalism and efficiency.
  • Foster a customer-focused environment and train staff on best practices in customer service.
  • Lead the recruiting, training, and supervision of branch staff.
  • Provide coaching and development opportunities to enhance team performance.
  • Schedule staff to ensure adequate coverage and manage time-off requests.
  • Conduct performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback.
  • Support the District Manager in developing and implementing sales strategies to achieve branch targets.
  • Promote branch services and products to meet customer needs.
  • Analyze sales data and customer feedback to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Assist in organizing and participating in community events and marketing activities.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

Physical Demands:

  • Must be able to lift up to 20 pounds at times.

Required Education/Experience/Certifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or equivalent experience.
  • Valid, unrestricted driver's license required
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products, particularly Outlook, Teams, and Excel
  • 1-3 years in a management or supervisory role
  • 1-3 years of experience in an administrative and client-facing role.
