JOB DESCRIPTION

The Oral Roberts University College of Business is accepting applicants for a full-time faculty position in Accounting. Courses must be taught on the campus of Oral Roberts University.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Successful candidates will teach undergraduate and graduate courses in Accounting. Excellence in teaching and professionalism, strong ORU fit, and research in the field are expected. Instruction should be characterized by learning-focused pedagogy, technology integration, and an ability to engage industry in the classroom. The applicant must assume student advisory responsibilities, engage students from a variety of cultural backgrounds, serve on university committees, and attend chapel services. Spirit-Empowered Christian commitment and compatibility with an honor code of conduct are essential.

REQUIREMENTS
  • Doctorate in Accounting (Ph.D. preferred)
  • Active CPA is a plus
  • MBA or Masters in Accounting with active CPA considered
  • Full-time teaching experience (minimum of 3 years recommended)
  • Industry experience (minimum of 3 years recommended)
  • Participation in research and professional development to stay current in field is expected
