Specialist, Organizational Development

Summary
The Specialist, Organizational Development reports to the Senior Manager, Talent Development and serves as a strategic partner in advancing enterprise talent and organizational effectiveness initiatives. This role is responsible for designing, implementing, and continuously improving enterprise-wide talent management programs, including performance management, talent reviews, succession planning, leadership assessments, and organizational development strategies.
Working closely with HR Business Partners and business leaders, this position provides organizational consulting, leverages workforce data to drive business decisions, and helps build leadership capability across the organization. The ideal candidate is an experienced organizational development professional with strong consulting, facilitation, project management, analytics, and HR systems expertise, preferably within Workday.
General Description Duties & Responsibilities
  • Lead the enterprise Performance Management process, including goal setting, mid-year reviews, year-end evaluations, calibration, and continuous process improvement.
  • Serve as the Workday Performance Management subject matter expert, optimizing system functionality, user experience, reporting, and process governance.
  • Design, facilitate, and continuously enhance Talent Review, Succession Planning, leadership assessment, and 360 feedback programs.
  • Partner with HR Business Partners and business leaders to diagnose organizational needs and develop talent strategies that improve organizational effectiveness.
  • Consult with leaders on leadership development, team effectiveness, organizational design, talent planning, and change management initiatives.
  • Analyze workforce, talent, and performance data to identify trends, measure program effectiveness, and provide actionable recommendations to senior leadership.
  • Develop executive presentations, dashboards, reports, communications, and business cases to support strategic decision-making.
  • Lead cross-functional organizational development and talent management projects from planning through implementation.
  • Research industry trends and emerging best practices to continuously improve talent programs and processes.
  • Support enterprise change management initiatives to ensure successful adoption of organizational and business transformations.
  • Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.

Qualifications
Required Experience
  • 8+ years of progressive experience in Organizational Development, Talent Management, Leadership Development, or Human Resources.
  • Experience leading enterprise Performance Management programs.
  • Experience facilitating Talent Reviews, Succession Planning, and leadership assessment processes.
  • Experience partnering with senior leaders to deliver organizational development solutions.

Preferred Experience
  • Experience in organizational design and organizational effectiveness consulting.
  • Experience leading enterprise change management initiatives.
  • Experience with talent analytics, workforce planning, and executive reporting.
  • Experience within LNG, manufacturing, energy, industrial, engineering, or other complex operational environments.
  • Experience administering HR technology platforms, preferably Workday Performance and Talent.

Required Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Industrial/Organizational Psychology, Business Administration, or a related field.

Required Skills:
  • Deep knowledge of organizational development, talent management, succession planning, performance management, leadership development, and change management principles.
  • Strong organizational consulting and relationship management skills with the ability to influence leaders at all organizational levels.
  • Exceptional facilitation, presentation, communication, and executive coaching skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate data into actionable business insights.
  • Demonstrated project management experience leading multiple enterprise initiatives simultaneously.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Experience using HRIS platforms, preferably Workday Talent and Performance.
  • Ability to build trusted partnerships, navigate ambiguity, and drive organizational change in a fast-paced environment.
