Job description

Join Our Team as a Team Lead!

The Team Lead is responsible for leading and supervising the daily operations of a team of Customer Service Representatives, ensuring compliance with operational goals, Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), Service Level Agreements (SLAs), and established quality standards. This position promotes team development and performance through coaching, training, and continuous feedback, while managing escalations, monitoring operational metrics, coordinating resources, and fostering a collaborative and results-driven work environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct operational floor walks to supervise, coordinate, and monitor Customer Service Representatives' activities, ensuring timely, courteous, and accurate responses. Maintain an efficient, high-quality operation through effective planning, leadership, organization, and control.
  • Handle and resolve escalated issues that representatives are unable to address, provide support on process-related inquiries, and manage employee concerns or complaints.
  • Monitor calls and conduct coaching sessions to improve team performance and professional development.
  • Collaborate with the Quality team to review performance feedback and quality scores.
  • Complete monthly performance evaluations and employment confirmation evaluations by the 7th day of each month, providing constructive feedback to associates.
  • Coordinate training and development programs for associates.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Completion of at least two (2) years of college coursework or a bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
  • One (1) to two (2) years of supervisory experience, or three (3) to four (4) years of experience as a representative or associate.
  • Excellent verbal, written, reading, and presentation skills.
  • Fully bilingual in English and Spanish (required).
  • Intermediate to advanced proficiency in computer applications and Microsoft Office, particularly Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong organizational, planning, and analytical skills.
  • Effective problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
  • Results-oriented with a commitment to achieving performance objectives.
  • Availability to work rotating eight (8)-hour shifts in a Monday through Friday operation between 8:00 a.m. and 11:00 p.m. Occasional availability to work weekends and holidays may be required based on operational needs.
