Job description

Understands, supports, and follows the Mission and Vision of BHSF Clinical Informatics. Facilitates all clinical informatics initiatives aimed to improve the quality of care and clinical performance of organizational objectives. Develops, delivers, and evaluates hospital and organization-wide clinical informatics education. Cross-trained to provide CI support for Baptist Health South Florida facilities. Requires frequent travel to all hospitals and other locations within BHSF. Assists in coordinating and communicating the use of technology in the direct provision of nursing and ancillary care, managing and delivering educational experiences, and supporting evidenced-based care and nursing research. Serves as a bridge between the clinical staff, Clinical Informatics and BHSF IT to collect and communicate feedback, daily issues, and educational needs of the end-users. Maintains 24 hours accountability and accessibility for clinical staff.Estimated salary range for this position is $80516.80 - $107087.34 / year depending on experience.

Degrees:

  • Bachelors.

Licenses & Certifications:

  • Registered Nurse.

Additional Qualifications:

  • A Baccalaureate degree in Nursing preferred, minimum 3 years of acute care hospital experience.
  • Ability to work independently, and manage multiple projects, with strong prioritizing skills.
  • Ability to provide informatics training and competency validation.
  • Strong understanding of clinical workflow processes, resulting in current and future workflow analysis, enhancements, and performance improvements to support clinical practice.
  • Demonstrated ability to be self-directed with excellent organization, analytical and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent oral and written communications skills.
  • Demonstrated experience in Digital Imaging
  • Experience with PACS system upgrades and project management
  • Provide end-user support for Imaging systems
  • Support Go-Live project implementations
  • Imaging and Radiology system exp

Minimum Required Experience: 3 Years
