About Site

Catalent's Kansas City facility is home to our Oral & Specialty Drug Delivery, Biologics Analytical Services and Clinical Supply Services businesses.

Position Summary
We have an opportunity for an Associate Director, Finance (Biologics) to join our team. In this role, you will lead financial planning and analysis for the site, including monthly actuals, forecasts, budgets, and strategic plans. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and provide financial support for customer negotiations. This position offers the chance to make a significant impact on site operations and business success.

Location: Kansas City, MO
100% Onsite


The Role

  • Manage the site's monthly actuals, monthly forecast, annual budget, and 5-year strategic plan, incorporating insights from commercial, operations, quality, and other functional teams.

  • Build cross-functional partnerships among the site leadership team, ensuring clear and efficient Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) processes; develop and mentor one high-performing direct report.

  • Provide finance support to customer negotiations, including pricing models, margin analysis, change orders, and contract structuring.

  • Partner with the shared site accounting function to ensure robust processes for service costing.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

The Candidate

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.

  • Minimum eight years of progressive finance experience.

  • Demonstrated leadership supporting a complex operations site; analytical testing.

  • Deep experience with Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A), cost accounting, financial modeling, and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems.

  • Demonstrable leadership experience at Catalent (including but not limited to participation in Catalentsponsored leadership programs such as NGGL, GOLD, LEAD Now, GM Excellence, and GROW) may be considered in place of external experience.

Preferred Skills & Background

  • Master of Business Administration (MBA) or Certified Public Accountant (CPA).

  • Experience in biologics or pharmaceutical Contract Development and Manufacturing Organization (CDMO) industry.
