Short Intro and About the Job
The Finance Manager, HQ Sales Finance & Planning (SF&P) plays a critical role in leading the monthly FP&A, Trade & Performance Management processes across US Sales Divisions, delivering accurate, timely, and insightful financial reporting and analysis to support planning accuracy and enterprise-level decision making. This role is highly cross-functional in nature, partnering closely with several cross-functional stakeholders, including Divisional SF&P Teams, Creamers, Ready-To-Drink, and Plant Based Categories Finance Teams, and the US FP&A team to deliver strong reporting, analytics and process implementation, while also serving as liaison with Trade Accounting to ensure accurate accounting treatment of trade accruals. The position includes one direct report and can be based in either White Plains, NY or Louisville, CO.
Core Responsibilities
  • Lead the monthly FP&A Close reporting and consolidation cycle for all U.S. Sales Divisions, ensuring completeness, accuracy, and timeliness.
  • Partner with Division Sales Finance teams to manage trade budgets and balance sheet activity, ensuring alignment to financial plans and accounting standards.
  • Serve as a key finance partner to the Creamers, Ready-To-Drink Coffee, and Plant Based Categories reporting on volume building blocks, trade spend, and variance analysis, and acting as a liaison between Category Finance, Division Sales Finance, and US FP&A teams.
  • Partner closely with Trade Accounting to ensure accuracy and proper accounting treatment at month-end close.
  • Implement process improvements through digitalization of routine financial reporting to drive efficiency, accuracy and free up time for ad-hoc impactful analysis
  • Support action-oriented ad-hoc financial analysis and special projects on recurring basis to provide clarity and help drive business decisions
  • Lead and develop one direct report, providing coaching, prioritization, and performance guidance.

The salary range for this position is $117,000-168,000 USD. The exact salary offered will depend on several factors, including the candidate's relevant experience, geographic location, internal equity, and market conditions. This role is considered a "hybrid" position that allows for flexible work, meaning it is a role where collaboration with key stakeholders in Danone Hubs occurs. While you may have the option to work from home on a schedule as agreed to with your supervisor, you are also expected to regularly report to your assigned office location at least 3 days per week.

  • Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting (MBA preferred)
  • 5-7+ years of progressive Corporate Finance experience, with increasing scope and responsibility ideally in CPG industry
  • Demonstrated Sales Finance experience, ideally within a matrixed or multi-division environment.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles, including trade accounting, accruals, and balance sheet management.
  • Proficiency in Excel, with a demonstrated interest to leverage Power BI to digitalize, automate and enhance financial reporting and insights
